Can't find my blogging mojo. I know it's here somewhere but I can't remember where I left it.
I think it may have something to do with the horrible tragedy that occurred in Tuscon last Saturday. The sadness and incredulity of it is everywhere. You can hear something about it on television pretty much 24/7 here in Arizona. And you see it in all the papers when you go to the grocery or drugstore.
It's a horrible and incomprehensible thing that has happened, however, I am not inferring that this incident is any worse than millions of horrible things that happen in the world each and every day.
I think since I can't find my blogging inspiration today, that I will post a few pictures of some things I find beautiful here in Arizona. Hopefully, my writing inspiration will return soon.

Dear Karen,
ReplyDeleteYour photos are breathtaking! There are healing powers in those beautiful surroundings. You naturally turned there for strength.
May you find peace and understanding in the days to come.
Warm Hugs,
Cathy G
There is still beauty around us even when we are sad.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of you while watching the news reports. I wondered if it was near you. Such a terrible tragedy. I watched some of the memorial tribute on tv last night. Very moving.
ReplyDeleteKim....yes only an hour away. Have even driven down that very road past that grocery. It is sad and horrific for all but as a mother, my heart breaks for the little 9 year old girl.
ReplyDeleteKaren ~
ReplyDeleteYes, I too, feel for the families, especially the family of the little girl. I, along with the rest of the nation and I'm sure much of the world, just can't comprehend such a tragedy.
Thank you for the beautiful pictures!
Hugs :)
Lauren
Beautiful pictures! Sometimes we have to look harder but there is always beauty around us.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad, senseless thing that happened in Tuscon...
Hope you will find your mojo again soon.
Karen I have lost my blogging mojo too. Terrible sadness with what happened oh so close to you. Your pictures are gorgeous. CH and I spent wine time talking about moving to Arizona or New Mexico. Heck, I would be happy back in El Paso.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everyone enjoyed the pictures. It is truly beautiful here but so much sadness.
ReplyDeleteI've never spent much time in New Mexico so I guess I'd still choose Arizona to winter in.
Your photos are beautiful! It certainly looks a lot more appealing than the cold snow and ice we're looking at here.
ReplyDeleteI think sometimes we just need to enjoy the quietness and serenity where we can find it after tragedy strikes in our lives.
Hello Houndstooth....thanks for the compliment on the photos. They and the real thing do provide solace I think.
ReplyDeletebtw....I've linked your GH site to my blog and....I think.....I may have read about Bunny's adventures on my GH list????
Thanks for stopping by!
Karen
