Frito and Rugs

Sooooo.....the bathroom rugs have been put back in place and the toys have all been put away.  The toilet paper is back on the hanger, the waste basket has been brought back out, my shoes are just where I took them off, not hiding behind a closet door.

But boy it's boring around here without Frito!!
I probably won't hear anything about how she's doing until next Friday when I get my next foster dog.

In the meantime, I've had more time for rug hooking.
Here's where I'm at so far.

This is the first time I've ever done a custom order for someone and I'm a bit nervous about it.  Will I get the colors just right?   Will the customer like the finished product?   Oh me, oh my!

Glad to hear you are looking forward to your next foster. I'm assuming another greyhound?
What a sweet little sheepie. I'm sure the customer will love it!

  4. I'm sure they will love your rug. But I understand how you feel. A custom order does seem to ramp up the stress. A friend asked me to do a specific design a few years ago and the whole project drove me crazy.

  7. How wonderful that Frito has a forever home....although I'm sure he felt quite warm and wanted in yours...you are a blessing to these animals.

Your rug is wonderful and who wouldn't be pleased with it...if it meant I didn't have to go through all that work...I'd be happy as can be.

Getting a new foster always felt like waiting for Christmas to me! You never know what you're going to get!
