Yep I'm doin the happy dance. Happy, happy, happy! Oh wait......I can't do the happy dance, I'm still on crutches! Oh well, I'm doin the happy dance in my head.
I'm so thrilled for you! I love the pillow! What fun to actually make money from something you love to do. I remember when I sold my first skein of yarn. It's great! Have a lovely Easter! Courtney
Karen ~ Congrats to you! It is a lovely pillow. How's Dottie doing? Has she met her possible forever home? Oh, I understand the emotions!!! Happy Easter. Pug hugs :) Lauren
Hi Karen, I'm not surprised you sold that cute pillow! Way to go!! Wave those crutches in the air...... but be sure you're sitting down first!! Hope you are hooking and healing! Hugs! Cathy G
Congratulations! Isn't that a nice feeling!!! You sound a little like me. After my mom passed away I talked my dad into spending winters in AZ. I help him get set up there in the fall and help him get back to MN in the spring ( I don't get to stay all winter though) He still lives on his own...he's 97! That's really sweet of you to be with him like that! Happy Easter!
I'm behind on my blog reading ~ wow! you have some stories to tell!! Sorry about the ankle ~ I've been there but had to have surgery on mine. I know that you have lots on your plate and being immobile probably doesn't fit in too well ~ I'm sending lots of healing thoughts your way! Love the pillow and congrats on a sale ~ a wonderful feeling!! And the bobcat story ~ holy crow!!! I will say he did have wonderfully striped legs, didn't he? Scary thought, though ~ to have that guy in your neighborhood! Take good care and enjoy your hooking time!
Faye....how lucky you are that he is 97 and can live alone!!! Wow. I LOVE your Big Horn Basin blog and it would be a dream for me to someday live my summers in Wyoming or Montana!! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Karen
Hi Alice! Thanks for the good wishes on the ankle and the pillow. I LOVED seeing the Bobcat, I really enjoy seeing the wildlife here, well except for the snakes!! Karen
I'm just a good ole country gal, born and raised. My dad farmed and held down a couple of other jobs while my mom stayed at home working hard to care for me and my 3 brothers. Every thing in my life is influenced by being raised in the country.
Since my mom passed away and dad sold the 'farm', he lives with me now. We spend half the year in Indiana and the other half in Arizona.
I am a huge animal lover, crafter, writer, rug hooker. Greyhound owner and rescuer, breeder of a few AKC Champion English Cocker Spaniels and.....Oh yeah...a dog groomer.
I look forward to sharing my life and my interests with you and hope you will enjoy my perspective!
way to go! that is great! and i am glad your ankle is getting better. i love when you show the pics of your work...the kitty is so cute!

Congratulation on your sale Karen. Dancing in your head is a lot safer than dancing on crutches. Have a wonderful Easter. JB
