ALL MESSED UP!

See.....I not only can't find my Christmas Spirit, I'm in the wrong season!!!

This is what I am working on now!

    Sorry you can't be home for Christmas. I don't blame you for not being able to find your Christmas spirit. As we lose our loved ones we have to redefine normal and that includes new holiday traditions. Perhaps you can Skype this Christmas, or celebrate it in July. Or maybe you can volunteer somewhere like a hospital or nursing home.
    We are trying to adjust around here too. Our sons fiance will be taking him to Chicago this year and we lost both of my in-laws this year. It will definitely be different.

    I'm sorry that you're still not in the Christmas spirit Karen. It will be over before you know it. Only two weeks and I still don't have a single gift bought or any baking done. It will come and go. In the mean time I hope that you will ease your stress of lonelyness by hooking that cute Halloween rug. Hugs, JB

    At least you are hooking! You're doing better than I am in that department. I see you are using a hoop. Don't like your new frame?
    I'm sure Christmas in Arizona is not the same as in Indiana, and I hope you can find some peace and enjoy your holiday there.

    Thanks gals...I just need to get in the right mind-set.

    Lauren....Love my frame but have to use a hoop on this one as it is too small. In fact, this hoop is almost too big!!

    I think it is smart. I always say I am going to hook a season ahead and I never get it done. Now I am scrambling to finish hooking 2 Christmas presents. If I had started in the Fall, I would be done now!
