Dottie goes to the Dentist

Hey everybody....Dottie here.  I heard my mom say that some of her readers have been asking about me.

Last week was kinda rough for me.  My foster mom took me to have some dental work done.  I needed it, cuz everyone said my breath was bad enough to knock over a moose.  But I didn't know that I was going to have 18 teeth pulled!!!  Don't worry though, dogs have over 30 teeth anyway.   I'm MUCH better now and mom says I am eating and drinking like a horse and if I don't slow down I will be as big as one.  I think mom is pulling my leg though!!

This morning mom took me for a ride in something called a golf cart!  She said it was too muddy to walk across the lot to the dog park.

I wasn't sure about it at first, but it was ok.

I wanted to drive but mom said I wasn't old enough.  Who is she kidding, in dog years I am only a year younger than she is!!

Well I gotta go help mom.  She has some little foo foo boarding dogs here that have to go outside.  I need to help her.  She says I need to learn from them though because they don't have accidents in the house.  Woof.....I am trying to learn!!

  1. Oh my gosh Dottie-you are too cute for words. Bless your heart for having 18 teeth pulled. I know that must have been rough. Sounds like a good mommy though--making sure you get to the dentist and all :) I bet you will be driving that golf cart before too long too.

  2. Oh poor Dottie. That's a whole lotta dog bones under her pillow from the tooth fairy. Glad everything is fine now.

  3. What you gonna do with Dottie when you come back to Indiana? You might want to just stay put with Dottie and Dad, Dearie!

  4. Poor Dottie. Doggie dentists are not fun. Millie had to have 10 teeth removed a few years ago, so we know how you feel.
It is fun riding in a golf cart though. Maybe if you are really good, Mommy will let you steer someday!

  5. Kimmie....am hoping Dottie will have found a forever home by then since we don't plan on coming back until around June 1. Staying put has crossed my mind, but dad has dr. appointments back there he has to get to. My house may be too full for dad and I so not sure where we might go!

  6. Hope you are feeling better after your dentist surgery! Mom will have to cook you some oatmeal for dinner! A dogs life is pretty tough sometimes too!
Hugs and pats on the head!
