She's Here!

Meet my new foster dog, Dottie!

I have yet to get any really good pictures of her.  It's hard to hold the lead and try to take a photo, but I keep trying!

This is the best picture I have of her taken before she came to me.  Dottie is the black white and tan on the right hand side while her brother Tucker, is the darker blue roan and tan.  Both came into rescue when their owner unfortunately passed away.  Tucker has been adopted.

Dottie and Tucker are English Cocker Spaniels.

She came to me last Sunday night from California so she thinks it looks really weird here!

Hey....where did all the grass go???

What the heck!  These are rocks....you expect me to go in rocks!

GRASS!
Whew, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do and right now, that means chillin!
So.........from FenceRow Farms West, in Arizona
(as opposed toFenceRow Farms, East in Indiana!)..........I'm sure Dottie will have more to say on her recent move to the Valley of the Sun.

Stay tuned!

  1. Oh Karen, How exciting. She is a beauty. How is she adjusting to your place(other than the grass situation.hehe) Do you have any other dogs there? Sometimes that is tricky. I swear when Carlee see another dog in our yard, I can just see her give me a look as if to say"No one else is coming in here." She used to love to play with other dogs in the neighborhood...Now-not so much. I hope all goes will with your new friend. Can't wait to hear more. Lisa

  2. She's beautiful!

    Thank you for fostering.

I really appreciate the beauty and the brains of this breed. If I were closer, the dog population At The Farm, might increase!

  3. Hi Karen, Thank you for stopping by my blog. I love reading about Dottie. We have a yellow lab, Sadie, which is about to have puppies. This is going to be a new adventure, we have never had puppies before. They are due to arrive valentine week. Hope to have some pictures. Vicky

  4. Karen,
She is a gorgeous dog! I wouldn't think it would take long to find a fH for her. I'm glad she is with you and being given such tender loving care! Bless your heart and hope all goes well!
Still wish I lived out there...... We could walk our critters together!
I'm missing the bare ground something fierce at the moment!
    Hugs!

  5. Oh Karen ~
Dottie is gorgeous! I'm sure she is settling in just fine, grass or no grass. I have been amazed just how quickly the fosters adjust. Give her a big ole pug hug from frigid Ohio :)

  6. Karen, what a beautiful dog. It sad that her owner passed away, I hope that Dottie will adjust well to her new home. Rocks are better than snow and cold winds. JB
